More often than not, I go on adventures by myself. Sometimes I tell people where I’m going, sometimes the internet, sometimes no one at all. This is a reminder of the importance of telling people where you’re going. Thankfully for modern technology, tracking ones location is easier BUT technology tends to fail.
Keep those you love informed and be safe out there!
Just watched 180 Degrees South again. I love this movie so much for so many reasons. I love that it holds people responsible for our impact on the environment and how it’s a duty not a luxury. It really demonstrates the connection that our surroundings have on us and how climbing and surfing are unique ways of expressing that connection.
